Women In Art: A Portrait Project
Conceived and Organized by Ardine Nelson

Women artists had photographic portraits taken of themselves by Ardine Nelson. Then, each artist was given a print of their portrait approximately five feet tall for them to transform into their own work.

Que Sera Sera (2011) was the result of this collaboration and can be seen in the portfolio Miscellaneous.

Exhibition Review by Daphne Merkin

"One thinks of Alice in Wonderland, lost in an upside-down universe, where the Queen of Hearts shrieks: Off with her head! There is a nursery excitement to Undine's vision as well as a disturbing sense of vulnerability to unaccountable external forces. Violation awaits in the wings, always acknowledged, but often adroitly undercut."
